Welcome !! www.alpacastats.com has been expanded to not only increase the operational capability of the OFDA 2000 reports but also has added skin biopsy reports as an added service to alpaca breeders looking to use more science and objectivity in their genetic selections. OFDA 2000 fiber reports are now searchable by all of the header traits – you can search and rank your animals by year of testing, age, sex, color, AFD, CF, SD, staple length, average daily growth rate and curvature! Of course, the regional comparison facility is still there to benchmark your animals against regional averages. We have also added an additional overlay opportunity for histograms and fiber profiles so you can now compare three animals on the one graph! Last, but not least, you can now delete animals from your pages that you no longer own or have sold. We will soon have another option available to you, our valued customer – we will be able to move animals from one owner to another, something we have not been able to do in the past. We will require is an approval from the old owner to remove that animal from their file, it will be that easy! Overall, I think you will be happy with the changes and the improved value of your records. The Skin Biopsy Reports is a brand new section featuring raw data for huacaya, suri, male and female alpacas we have tested over the past four years This data includes density, S:P ratio, AFD’s for primary and secondary fibers (along with their SD’s) and fiber population differentials – all valuable measurements for cutting-edge decision makers! An added feature is the ability to email direct the owners of those animals able to be accessed by their owners. This facility does not disclose the owners identity but directs the question/enquiry directly to them privately and instantly. It is provided as a service to both our biopsy customers as well as breeders looking for superior sires. |
